About the name
In traditional decks this card is called Death. We read the cards with gentle eyes, and call it Transformation. The meaning is the same.
A mirror, not a prophecy
The card says nothing about the future, but the image can give you a new question to think about. Tarot began as a card game in 15th-century Italy, and was only linked to mysticism in the 1700s. Read the whole story on the tarot page.
