Privacy simple and honest

No tracking, no cookies

The website uses no cookies, no analytics tools and no advertising. The fonts are served from our own server, so no third party learns that you are visiting us.

What is stored in your browser

So that the site can remember your choices, we store a few settings locally in your browser (localStorage). They are never sent to us:

ak-mode: whether you have chosen dark or light mode. Dark is the default. ak-lang: whether you read in Norwegian or English, so you come back to the same language next time. ak-candle: the date you lit the candle on the home page.

You can delete them at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

When you send us something

When you sign up for the Moon Letter, a waitlist or share advice, you send us what you write in the form: your email address, your name if you give it, and your text. We use it only for what you asked for, and share it with no one except the provider of our email service.

You can ask for access, correction or deletion at any time, and unsubscribe from all mailings. If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
